February to April in May
This is really ambitious, but I'm about to catch all the way up from February through April in one post...so buckle down, maybe get some snacks, cause this might be a long one.
February
I went to my first Shark's hockey game in San Jose with both my Aunts, uncle, and a couple of their friends. It was a lot of fun! The Shark's won, so that made it even better!
I had a birthday. It's weird to not be 25 anymore...
My family was able to come down to celebrate, which was so nice! We had homemade raviolis and pink sauce! yum! and I got some really nice gifts, including a Cal Poly Dimploma frame...after two years I guess it's time to take it out of the envelope it was mailed in.
I also got to celebrate my birthday again at a bonfire in Carmel. I felt so special that so many of my friends came out to celebrate, even ones far away! It was baby Liam's first beach trip too, you can tell he was excited!
March
My brother celebrated his birthday, we went cosmic bowling and had a yummy dinner with Chicken Rolls! Double yum! I did take pictures, but they all turned out terribly blurry...but here's one anyway. And appropriately, they were playing 80's music and showing the videos on the drop down screens. seems like a perfect way to celebrate!
The end of March we said goodbye to one of our friends/co-workers. Our population of people under 40 in our office is dwindling fast!
April
Technically it was the end of March and beginning of April, but that doesn't really matter. Brad and I went to Yosemite. We had been gifted 2 nights at a B&B in Mariposa for Christmas and we were so happy to use it! I've never been to Yosemite so early in the year, but it really was beautiful covered in snow! Of course, it wasn't covered in snow when we got there, it happened on the first day in the park while we were on a 6 mile hike. Yay for adventure!
We saw lots of wildlife at the park and at our B&B
Here are some other sites of Yosemite and the surrounding area
More to come for the month of April...for now this should keep you busy for a while.
